I wasnt planning on it today, but couldnt pass it up. It’s a 2004 16 Foot Lund Rebel Adventure. Has a 1999 Honda 4 stroke 40 horse on it. 3 nice seats, trailer, graph, guy even threw in the anchor.
Any guesses on the price of this rig?

Anything under $5k is a deal but I bet you got it for $2,500 or less.
I picked up a like new 1998 16′ Lund Alaskan w/ a matching yr 25 hp 2 stroke merc for $2,200 (cash, of course) a couple Falls ago. I really like my Alaskan and would never sell it. Tough as nails boat and fishes really comfortably. I may re-power it one day with a 40 hp 4 stroke yamaha.
This time of year, I also think about $2500 is a steal. Congrats on the new rig
I would guess $6000. It will be a nice rig for a long time for ya.
Hey KWP, what kind of speed can you get out of your alaskan with a 25 horse?
Im looking for a 16 foot tiller as well but I have always said I would want atleast a 40 horse.

I get about 24 mph with just me in it…With 2 guys about 22/23 mph, its when I get 3 guys it really starts to bog down and I only get about 17 mph. I have a 12 pitch prop which seems to work the best for that boat. My 16′ Alaskan is rated for a 50 HP.
Yes, I would like to re-power with a 40 hp 4 stroke yamaha but they are hard to come by slightly used and too expensive new. I use my rig all over P2 and it seems to get me wherever I want to go though. But yes, at times a 40 hp would be nice.
I really like my Alaskan and would never give it up…I never thought I would find one at a price I could afford.
Targaman was right. I got it for 3500 from an old guy who was in a financial pinch. I am now in the market for a bow mount trolling motor. I fish Pool 4 almost exclusively. For a boat this size, anyone have any reccomendations for how much thrust I need?
Thanks
i wouldn’t go any smaller than a 70lb with 24volts if your fishing the river…the current u may want more power and battery life. i got stranded on the river and was able2 get home with my minnkota

It was taking forever for the reply so I tossed out a high incase he over paid!
I have a 16′ Lund Explorer w/40hp Honda. Just upgraded trolling motor to a new MinnKota 12v IPilot. While I agree with those who said go with 24v, you may have problems with battery storage & weight. I had a previous 12v MinnKota and never had any thrust issues fishing all types of water. Just needed to recharge battery aftyer every outing.
