I have a 2000 1650 explorer with a 40hp 4 stroke tiller. I was thinking of upgrading to new. Looking at a 1675 pro guide with a 75 opti and a 1625 rebel xl with a 60 4 st merc. In your opinions is the pro guide worth 5-6 grand more?

I don’t know bout the boat but I love my optimax
It depends what kind of water you fish, and how hard you run the boat in big waves. If you don’t fish big water, I would say that a rebel would be the better choice. My guess is that while both hold their value very well the Pro Guide will hold it’s value a little better in the end.

For what, you are looking for 1675 Pro? Fishing, cruising or hunting?
