My first post, been a reader for awhile, so greetings everyone.
I have and 1875 ordered that should be here this week. Question for anyone that already has one or has looked at one. Is there room in the battery compartment underneath the rod locker for 3 batteries? Was told there might be enough space if one wanted to put a 36volt electric on the bow. Thanks!

Are you also going to mount an on-board charger in that compartment? I think it’s going to be pretty tight if that’s the case.
I really don’t think you will need a 36v system to move that boat around. I run a Pro-V 1800 with a 24v system and have no problems with that.
Not saying you shouldn’t go with a 36v system if possible. Just letting you know that it’s not necessarily needed.

Yeah, there will be a charger in the compartment. I don’t think I need one either, someone just suggested it to me and I was thinking it would be too tight of a fit. I think I will stick with the 24volt. Thanks

Been thinking real hard on the 1875….which motor did you choose? 150, 175, or 200. Been considering the 150 Verado, but don’t know if it will get up on plane quickly enough…

I got the 175 Verado. Lund was offering the 175 at the 150 price a couple months back, so that’s what I did. Also got the 9.9 Pro Kicker.

You’ve had a nice “up close” view of the new 1875 Riggin Guy. Do you think there is room for 3 trolling motor batteries?

I did not look really hard at the battery situation. I would assume the boat would be setup for 36 volts. I have not checked, but maybe Lund’s site would have this info.

I think it is set up for 24 according to the Lund website. I’ll be getting a look at it next week, so I can find out then. thanks

I talked a salesman and he said it is only setup for 24 volts.
