Lund ProGuide tiller questions (17 ft)

    Guys,

I’m curious about the Lund ProGuide tillers. I’m somewhat familiar in that my Dad has a 2010 ProGuide tiller, circa 2007 I think. Great fishing boat.

I’m sort of looking around and figure when I do pull the trigger it’s likely going to be the 17-foot model. However, my understanding is in 2015 Lund went from 1725 to the 1775, correct? Any thoughts on how the 1725 ProGuide tiller compares to the new 2015 models? Both boat wise and motor wise.

I often fish by myself, on Pepin. And am looking for a bit wider/more stable boat than my current 16 foot Crestliner tiller, ideally 4-stroke. Realistically, probably gonna be used which is why I’m curious about the 1725 vs 1775.

    Thanks

I do believe the switch led to them being able to put a 90hp on the 1775 vs the 75hp on the 1725. And possibly since this model is basically the impact without the steering console.

I am in the same predicament as you but I already have a 17ft crestliner tiller with a 75hp, but would like to upgrade to the better ride of the lund.

Both the 1775 and the 1875 have a max horse power of 90. Does anyone know what the price difference is between the 1775 and the 1875 if both have the 90hrs on the back?

Using the Lund BoatBuilder, at the MSRP level, there’s a $2,496 difference.

Thanks! I really did not think there would be that much of a price difference…

Keep in mind, the 1875 comes with a 25″ transom, so if you back-troll a lot, it might be the better choice.

Hmmmm. But has anyone had a chance to fish out of the 1725 Lund vs the newer 1775 Lund? Just curious how they compare in terms of stability etc.

    not even close
1775 Impact has 25 inch transom and 1775 pro guide has 20 inch transom
