Good evening. Purchased a 2019 pro v 1875 last year and after taking home noticed the top of the driver side windshield does not line up with the swing window or left side. Right side is higher. Has anyone else experienced and is there a known fix? Thank you!

My Skeeter has been that way since it was 3 months old.

Have not had that problem on any boats I’ve owned in the past.

Perhaps if you could take some pictures of the windshield and the struts holding it in place someone can make a suggestion.

Great suggestion. Thank you. Wont be able to get a photo until later this week but will certainly do that.

My 2015 Alumacraft Trophy is the same also.

    Michael,

2018 Lund 1775 Impact XS here. Same exact thing. It has caused 0 problems, and I’m much less anal about the boat than I used to be so I just ignore it. It hasn’t moved. Dealer told me they can try to realign it but it was the height of the driver console causing it.

Update on mine- driver console is now starting to crack. Lund is shipping a new console/ dash to my dealer and when they go replace that they will be fixing the windshield alignment as well.

Did you ever get yours ironed out? I’d love to know what happens with these and how so many of them get out of alignment. Doesn’t appear to be just a Lund thing when searching other forums.

My 13 Ranger is off by about 3/4 inch – the left side is digging into the fiberglass on the right side at the bottom as it has sagged

Damn all these stories of the same thing across brands. maybe It’ll be worth adding a 2nd strut to each side? I’m sure it doesn’t help the walk-through portion is fully supported by the port side, it becomes a pretty big lever arm.

I’ll provide an update once Lund ships a new dashboard and my dealer gets it in and gets everything fixed. Looking like July/ August timeframe. Ouch

Not sure it will work on newer boats, but my 2001 pro sport also did this. Boat has wood top on the consoles, not the plastic like now and was just screwed in with sheet metal screws. When I re did the vinyl covering on those wood tops this winter I bolted the windshield back down, now it’s even again. I think they just sag over time from the weight of the walk through door so eventually I’m sure mine will again also but hoping the bolt down method lasts a little longer at keeping it rigid.

Interestingly, last night I had switch panel out to do some wiring and I reached back to to check how the windshield is secured and it is in fact bolted. Maybe I need to see if there’s loose bolts under the passenger side near the gunwale causing it to sag
