Lund predator issues

I’m new to this forum, I live in Ontario on Georgian bay. I’m a multi species angler with a crush for bass fishing, competitively and non. With options like trolling for salmon and walleye a close second. I purchased a brand new from dealer 1810 predator from Lund with their reputation of quality in mind. Ideally I would have made it to a 2010 but….$$$$$. I’ve had some issues with the boat which has opened my eyes to the lack of customer service there is. Here’s a couple of the things. 1st I noticed the rivets wearing terribly from the bunks to the point some of them are nearly flush with the hull (boat is only 4 years old). I moved the bunks a little to avoid this but it seems to be something that should not happen, I do not power load (idle on and winch up) 2nd the hull sticker and bill says IPS 2, that stands for integrated power strakes right? What strakes???? I’ve notice other 1810 predators without as well. This brings me to a third issue, one day while idling through a slow zone I had a large vessel pass by me and as I went over his wake the front of my boat came down rather hard, not thinking anything of it I left and later noticed a huge dent on the seam where a “strake” would normally be, I managed to push it back out but aluminum stretches and I have a perminent ding in the hull at a very visible point. I’m really disappointed with these things and wanted to share even though they are not produced anymore. I’d like to move to a longer boat but unfortunately I love the layout so much that I can’t find another brand that is comparable. I really do like the boat but these things have really put a thorn in my side. I’ve contacted a few different dealers and they all want nothing to do with it. So if “Lund” is nowhere to be found and the dealers won’t bother then what else do I do? Any help or advice would be great!
    Thanks

Your hull is under warranty still. Contact as many dealers as possible.

As the original owner the hull should be under warranty. But Lund told my brother this is only good for 8 or 10 years. I can’t remember off hand how many years they told him. But they will no longer fix the rivets on his boat and he is the original owner. He is pissed and bought a Lund because of that warranty on the hull. I wish the best of luck to you. Keep calling around.
