Lss2 Mount on triton205

    Hi there. I just purchased a hds7 gen 3 with StructureScan. I have a triton 205 and was wondering on where to mount the transducers. The existing transducer is mounted on the bottom step next to the drain plug. Is this the best spot for my new ones? Is starboard side best so the kicker motor won’t interfere with the signal? I’m looking for any advice.

    I mounted mine in the step area. I like that it is ahead of all obstructions so none of my motors will interfere. It works very well there. Plus it is probably the safest place to mount it.
