Lowrance expansion port??

    Currently I have a 520c and 332c networked through a blue cable network. I found a heck of a deal on the navico expansion ports. Would there be an advantage to adding the expansion port?? Currently the units just share GPS signal. I could never get temp. to work. Would the expansion port simplify my network?

    Currently I have blue cables. Would I need to convert everything to yellow cables?

    I also added the HDS-5x for sonar only. I don’t know if it’s worth adding that to the network or not.

    An expansion port will allow you to ethernet network more than 2 units.

    It doesn’t work with a NMEA 2000 network.

    Where is the deal on them?
