whether its true or not, maybe someone that has more technical knowledge could chime in and confirm/deny what I read.

I knew what ping rate was, just wasn’t sure how it related to transducers going out, makes sense I guess, but if even that was true, I’m betting they shouldn’t go out that fast, and many I know run years on theirs with no problem.
Even Doc Samson on his DVDs recommends the fastest ping rate…if I remember right.
They admitted they had a problem, which was nice of them, but they said basically “too bad, buy new improved ones” which wasn’t nice.
I work in a field where customer service is very important and I/the company does what we can for our customers, we see a lot of repeat customers because of that.
You’d think it would be a no brainer…maybe not.
