Ken (Or Dandorn) – I have seen you provide very nice wiring diagrams previously. Is there any chance you can provide one for the following. HDS-7, HDS-8, Sonic Hub, LSS-1, LGC-4000. I am just a bit confused with the Ehernet portion of it all. If it is simply running ethernet from LSS-1 to each unit then how do I connect HDS-7 to HDS-8?

Also, because I have LNet Blue Backbone, can I add the 2′ Blue/Red Converter on the backbone so I can simply switch to Red T’s or do I have to convert at each individual T?

    Thanks

If you have both head units connected to the LSS-1 via ethernet, the two head units will both be connected to each other via ethernet. The LSS-1 also functions as your ethernet hub essentially.

You’ll need adaptor cables for each “red” device you connect to your “blue” network. The adaptor connects to the blue tee (bottom) and then to the red device. Part# (127-05)

You may also need to add another blue tee for adding the
SonicHub depending on the number tees you currently own.

I figured that, at $30 bucks a piece for a blue/red converter I am better off changing out my entire network to red by the looks of it

    Thanks

You’ll probably be better off due to fact that with the HDS product line you have to power the network with its own power cable and not through the HDS power cable.

It might be hard to find a blue power node if you don’t have
    one already.
