I have an HDS-8 and LSS-1, Guess I have to learn what you can do and save to the card? Can you guys elaborate? Just save the structure scan shots to your card?

    Tx!

    Thank you for your help!
One more question if the card is to be SD or SDHC?

Either one will work. HC = High Capacity > 2GB or sometimes
    > 4GB up to 32 GB.

    Dougout,

To save screenshots hit menu twice, go to system and then to screen capture. Highlight the blue dot and exit. From then on when you hit the power button you will take a picture of what is on the screen at that moment. This will continue until you go back into the menu and uncheck screen capture.

Then if you want to save these screenshots to a card and look at them on your computer or post them on a website, insert a blank card into the outside card slot and hit pages. Go to Files and hit enter. Go to Screenshots and hit enter. Then export them to the Memory Card and then they are saved to the card. You can select the card in that menu and view what is on the card to make sure they are there.

    HDS-8 slots (slot) card?
    Hi,
I have a question about the socket (slot) cards in the HDS-8.
There are two slots (slots), and differ in that when one is “+”

(I got there, two slots (slots), different “+”
Which slot is to record data from HDS?
(where you insert the card to record data from hds)
    What does this “+”?

Use the right slot, the left one is for screen shots, way point transfer, and software updates.

Where do you get this info?

The card reader with the + is a faster reader than the one on the inside. Each reader will work just fine and any update or transfer of information can be done with either reader.
