LMS-334c-igps 1.70 & Lakemaster = Lock up. Help?

    Title says it all. Any fixes other than going back to version 1.60? Anyone know where to get older software other than through Lowrance Support?

    I have to take my card out to start my 334 up, then once it’s loaded I can put the lakemaster card in. The 334 on my boat has been a nightmare.

    I wouldnt never tell anyone to buy a 334. I will feel bad for the person who buys it from me when I sell it. The internal GPS sucks on it and it deletes my waypoints. It loses menu pages once and a while. Not the best Lowrance Unit. Unless I got a lemon

    ditto for me on the 334c, if anyone knows how to get version 1.6 I’d like to know. it seems all my problems started when I went to version 1.7

    Ditto the pull card out at start up, put it in after. Does not have same problem when using Navionics card.

    I should still have a version of 1.6 (or older) on my computer at home. PM me and I will see if I can figure out how to email it. I had it emailed to me from Lowrance when I had problems with “upgrading” to 1.7.

    The GPS on mine has been fine but I do lose bottom at WOT much more than with previous Lowrance units I have had. Also have the problem with menus disappearing. When that happens I reload the software (very easy and quick). But then I have to re-do my screen set up preferences. This most often happens when I am switching between portable and boat mount.

    On the plus side, it does a better job for hardwater walleye fishing than the Marcum LX5 I tried and returned last winter.

    Same problem with deleting my waypoints. Anybody find a cure for that problem? Support said they had never heard of it before and offered to sell me a refurb 334i
