Sirius weather (Green screen syndrome)

Why does my HDS screen turn green on a bluebird day?

Lowrance told me to adjust the transparency on the display

but that didn’t make a difference.

Sirius told me it’s a Lowrance problem.

This makes the darker shaded shallower water on my LM card

    useless.

For now I’ll have to disable the weather so I don’t get the

    green screen.

Sometimes the console unit will turn green and the bow won’t and sometimes it’s the other way around. (ethernetworked)

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive had the same thing happen a few times. It has always been in the morning when there is alot of moisture in the air. I figured the satelites were picking up the moisture in the air.

Good to hear that this is not isolated to my coordinates.

    Thanks.

Last time out it happened again and I was unable to

    disable it.

I first deselcted “precipitation” and still got the green screen.

I then turned the overlay to off and it still happened.

    I guess I’ll try a reset next.
