I have seen like 6 post in the last couple days about the lowrance LGC-2000 not picking up gps or giving a missing gps error. I had this happen to my 332c I have had for 5 years. After troubleshooting and following lowrances troubleshooting guide off their web site ( checking voltage and what not). I called customer service in the morning and asked where I could get a replacement LGC-2000. They told me they have a upgrade program for $112.00 shiped to my house with the new cable, I get a new LGC-4000. I did this and with in 1 week I had my 332c up and running again. You will have to upgrade to the latest software from the web site but that is so easy with a SD card reader from Walmart for $13.

It looks to me like you’re living a charmed life. I called Lowrance this morning re: my lgc 3000 antenna. My estimated phone wait time was 20+ minutes. This to me is pretty unacceptable, especially on a cell phone. I did submit an email, but if it’s like the last time I did that it took so long for an answer I’d forgotten the question. Unless something happens this week, I’ll be switching out my Lowrance this winter. jerr

Jerr, get use to it. I sent an email to another brand of locater. It took over two weeks to have the question answered.

Lowrance has extra phone staff on from 11 to 2 pm each day to help with the calls. I think they have a standard recording that says it’s a 20 minute wait because I’ve heard that and then the phone is picked up soon after. In fact, I don’t recall ever hearing it’s going to be less than 20 minutes.

    They need to change that.

I am a service tech and we have to call and get WO #s for tickets a 10 to 20 min wait is normal for lots of company’s The last 2 times I have called Lowrance I called once right at 9 and they answered the phone with no wait the other time maybe 8-10 min wait not bad in my estimation!
