Lowrance Engine Interface help needed

Ok, just got my HDS-10 and I’m trying to find the connector on the engine for the interface cable. I have a Yamaha, F150, 2004 vintage. I saw this thread on a different forum http://www.walleyecentral.com/forums…d.php?t=165390 and it shows a white connector and states it is on the starboard side of the engine. I’ve looked all over mine and the only plugged connector I find has a single red wire going to it and a single connector inside of the plug. Anybody got a pic of the F150?

On my F150 the connector is in the front of the motor under the fuel filter.

The pink wires for the trim gauge connection were in close
proximity to the interface connector. (Starboard side)

My understanding was the F150 had to be a 2006 model or later to use this cable. Correct me if I am wrong and I would like to do this with my 2004 model.

what year is your motor Dan?

I just checked the cable specs and it says post 2004 models.
I think we are out of luck.
