Transducer Question

    I have an LCX-27c and 522c installed on the boat with the correct transducer for these units. I just purchased the HDS-8 and transducer. Are these transducers the same? I connected the HDS-8 to the existing connections from the LCX-27c and it worked. Is that giving me the full capabilities? If not, what do I check?

    Same transducer.

    The HDS doesn’t bridge the power to the network
    (if applicable) like an LCX or an LMS would.

    You’ll need to power it separately if you have one.
