I have a lowrance I finder and have a question. When trolling down at low speeds i lose speed signal and was wondering if adding an external antennae would help with speed issues?

Probably not. It’s pretty tough for most GPS units to track below 0.4 MPH SOG.

That’s really bad. I’d probably start looking for a new GPS versus buying an external antenna.
