after just watching Doc’s video, I looked more into the sharing waypoints, routes, etc.

With using the Ethernet ports for the LSS, will that still enable me to share all that information?

Well as I was looking though the manual today….again and also talked to a pro staffer at the sports show, I do believe I found out the answer.

If you hit [enter] twice it will create the way-point on that unit only. If you hit [WPT] twice it will create it on both units.

If you have 4 units will you need to hit “WPT” 4 times??

Whichever way a waypoint is saved it will be saved
to all the units that are connected via ethernet.

This could be a unit to unit connection, 3 units connected
through the StructureScan, or more than 3 through an
expansion port with StructureScan or without.

You don’t have to save a waypoint a certain way to save
    to all units.

Dandorn has it correct but I do not have the Lss. I have 2 HDS units networked with the ethernet and does not matter which way I put in a waypoint it is automatically on both units.

Thanks guys, I goofed up the settings on the one unit that is why I wasn’t seeing them. I did a reset and then the waypoints showed up.
