    Can i upgrade my LCX28c-HD to have the stucture scan???

    No. The HD-5, HD-7, HD-8, and HD-10 are the HD models that Lowarance is referring to when they say you can add structure scan to an HD unit. The HD in your model number refers to a hard drive, whereas the new HD is high definition. Hope that helps.

    About the only other option to upgrade the sonar portion is to add a broadband sounder…cleans up the signal and gets better resolution and separation of targets.
