Lowrance HDS8 + LSS1 – how and where to install it

    Hallo,
    I want to buy HDS8 i LSS-1 and I have sevral ask ?

    – Can I connect for one accumulator sonar HDS and LSS-1?
    – That is minimal and maximum distance between transducer HDS but transducer LSS-1
    – Where I can install transducer sonar HDS(83/200)(“A”) and transducer LSS1(“B”), picture below. If you can give number from 1 to 6.
    – I would be thankful, if it is possible to indicate place on my boat from 1 for 6 (picture below), where it is possible to install transducer sonar HDS ( 83/200 ) ( „A” ) and transducer LSS1 ( „B” )

    I swim on exhaust engine 9,9 kM

    Welcome to IDO grzegorzss!!

    According to the LSS-1 installation instructions the

    StuctureScan transducer should be installed within approximately

    1 foot of the broadband sounder transducer

    to get optimum performance from the Downscan Overlay

    feature.

    You have to install an HDS unit to use the LSS-1. Does

    that answer your first question??

    Between 2&3 or 4&5 this area centerd between these numbers looks like a good spot for a Humminbird transducer.

    Looks like too nice of a boat to drill a hole in for a Lowrance product LoL!
