Just received the HDS-8’s from Lowrance last weekend and been playing around with the settings some.
What will changing the Chart update threshold in the ‘advanced settings’ do? Definition given is ‘The display controls the speed threshold at which the chart will limit updates (mph)’
It is currently set at 0.0 as the default setting. If I interpret this correctly, anything over 0 mph and the screen updates will be limited or slower??
Am I right on this and should be changing this setting to a speed that I plan to actively ‘search’ at?
