I have a new Navionics 2009 LOW chip and can’t get it to read any contours on the H2O. I also have a Lakemaster MN 2009 chip and reads flawlessly. Is there anything that I should be doing? Any setup requirements? Should I call into Navionics? Thanks.

As far as I remember the lakemaster are plug and play,With the navionics you have to go in the menu and select the map for the the area you want!

First make sure your H20 is in the Advanced mode. Then hit menu once , scroll down to map data and hit enter. Then scroll down to map choice and hit enter again. You can than select area you want to open. Highlight that area and then exit out until you get back to the map page. You cannot have all 5 states visible at once. There are several files for each state. for example NWMN stands for Northwest Minnesota. Good luck!! I don’t think there is anything wrong with your GPS or chip.

Thanks guys, I was able to find the location of the different maps you were refering to. I haven’t looked at the contours or detail yet, but that looks like what I needed to do. Thanks again, Josh. Good fishing everyone.

Here’s a handy little info card to print and keep for those who want it:
