Crazy Locator

    Last year my X102 went crazy on me. A friend of mine had similar problems with his at the exact same time. When he got a new battery his problems stopped. I got a new battery this year and tried it out today. Plugged it in and fished for 2+hrs without a hitch. Problem solved NOT!!!! When I shut the unit off it turns itself back on and goes thru the different backlight phases in rapid order beeping all the way. I can shut it off but it comes back on. It is like the power button is sticking. Has anyone else experienced this? Anything else that could be causing this?

    It is a problem with the power switch. That series and the LMS 300’s had quite a few problems with that.

    What has to be done to fix it? Is there a fix at all? I also have a lms 332 that has never had a problem.
