Hey fellas. I read through the online Lowrance install manual, it does not give a distance from the motor for the LSS2 Structurscan Transducer to be installed. I have watched youtube install videos saying the transducer should be mounted 12-18 inches to the starboard side of the motor. The dealership had originally installed my LSS2 transducer about 10″ starboard of the motor and even when trimmed up I experience prop wash on the left side screen which is then translated to the downscan. I am wondering if any Lowrance literature says so or your experiences can confirm that moving the transducer farther from the motor will eliminate the prop wash? Thanks all for any insight!
