Connection of 2xHDS 5 sonar fault

    Hi guys
    I have connected 2xHDS5 units with cable via the LS2 all seems fine apart from the sonar which only shows vertical lines. Any one out there had similar problem .

    Do you happen to have it connected to a trolling motor transducer and a transom mount? Maybe the units are drawing from the trolling motor transducer when you want it from the transom.

    Thanks for the info, yes it appears the trolling transducer was the problem.
    What I did was reset both units to default and they seem to be communicating. ( remember so save your info)
