    There is a big rebate on structure scan add-om units. Are they being replaced by something new and better? Or don’t they work very well? Thanks

    The rebate only applies if you buy a HDS-10, HDS-8 or HDS-7 Sonar (Head unit) and bundle the structure scan with it. You can’t just buy the Structure Scan by it’s self.

    I heard (2nd hand) they are going to touch screen units only and those have internal structure scan…

    Yep. You won’t see HDS non touch units on shelves next season unless the business has hold over units.

    Good maybe they will finally drop the price of the ss unit itself next year then….
