    has anyone done the new Elite 7 HDI software update? Any problems or regrets? I just purchased one a few weeks ago.
    Don’t want to do software update if it has bugs.

    Did it for my dad on his elite 7, he has had no problems and likes the speed and description on mapping better, just our 02 cents.

    What is the number?I bought one last call and cabelas did the update before I left the store

    The release date is 15 jan 2014 so the newest is after jan 1 ,just go to lowrance web site for dates and numbers of the updates I just did my HDS 8 last nite,ready to go this weekend YAAAAAA!
