Will I have antennae interference issues if I mount a LMS522c and a Elite 7HDI next to each other on my dash? Both have internal antennaes. Can I disable the antennae in one of them if there is a problem? I was going to use the 522 for the GPS mapping, waypoints and trails, and the elite 7 for sonar and down scanning.

Maybe a dumb question but I didn’t think the lms 522 was an internal gps ?

I run a lms520c for my graph and a 5200c for mapping/gps they are a 1/2″ apart and I have zero problems with them. Gps puck is ran to the 5200 only.

You shouldn’t have any problems. I am currently running a hds5 and 522 side by side. both have internal antennas and work just fine.

GPS receivers only receive and don’t transmit anything. So there’s nothing to cause interference as far as the GPS is concerned.

Put the 2 units side by side and no problems.
