HDS Gen2 Touch AND Standard PLEASE look!

I took a Lowrance class a few weeks back. In class we used the HDS 9 GEN2 TOUCHscreen for demonstration. During this demonstration we were able to switch between a multiple pane view of any charts/structure/sonar, with another saved chart/sonar etc. by simply holding the “pages” button. I am wondering how to quick swap my view from “saved” screens to the other saved screen with the non-touch HDS gen 2. Anyone? When I hole the “pages” button it simply changes which screen on the screen I am selected on. any ideas?

Hold the preset button after selecting the screen display you like.

Like setting a car radio to a pretuned station.

Wasn’t aware that the HDS Gen 2’s had the ability to save screens unless you had the HDS8 or HDS10 with the programable buttons at the bottom of the screen.

Good point. It must be an HDS8 or above.

Also check for the most recent version of software. I believe the original Gen2’s did not have this function.
