Anyone have one of these that is not hooked up to a network? I want to hook one up in the back of my boat for trolling, I have LGC-3000 GPS puck and was told by one guy that I just need an adaptor cable to plug into the PWR/DATA plug to the puck. Another place told me I need a network cable for the GPS to work, I thought you only needed a network cable if you wanted to have two or more units talk to each other?

I do have a PM sent to dandorn but in the meantime I thought I would also post the question here.

You’ll need the network cable. If I remember correctly, it is a 25-ft Y adapter cable with a terminating end. I have 2 units networked via this cable (called a soft-T), but you still need the cable for 1 unit. This link might help explain it better:

If you need the cable, I might have one laying around.

    Hi Steve,

Do you already have a working LGC-3000 on your boat?

I have two in my boat but the the puck is a LGC 2000.
Not sure if they will work with the 3000?

Doesn’t the 332 have an internal gps antennae?

The LMS-334C IGPS or the LMS-522C IGPS have internal antennas.
