HDS7 Transducer

    My transom mounted transducer broke…. Again.
    Does anyone know of a better, more rigid built replacement?
    It’s just a poor design that breaks at it’s narrowest point.
    Ideas?

    Maybe you are mounting it too low and it is dragging too much water causing it to break?

    If you have a glass boat you could do a thru hull.

    I personally prefer the thru hull. Not sure if results are better through glass or not. Never used one on my Aluminum boats but sure like mine on Ranger.
