I bought my LX-7 at Reeds after seeing the $549 sale price posted here on IDO by another member. On arrival to my place here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula I swallowed big and did the update. Not too hard for a techno challenged 65 year old
even! Went fishing with it a few times and was having trouble with the screen not behaving properly, blinking and finally giving a washed out view. I described that in a post here on IDO and James immediately told me to send it in which I did. Got it back in less than a week and used it yesterday for the first time. It’s performance was flawless! So thanks IDO for the heads up on a great buy and good advice. Thanks Marcum for producing a sweet unit that I will also get some use out of this summer! Next on my list is the 2.0 upgrade for my ice troller.
