Guys, I’m trying to connect these two units together and the cables I received arent the same. I dont care about linking them together for GPS. I’m having trouble figuring out what I need as far as tees, resistors, etc. Any help is much appreciated.

You have a blue network device (332c) and a red network device (28c).

What do you have for parts right now?

Thanks for the response!! I currently have the 332c connected on my console. I can use the same PWR and SONAR blue connectors that i currently have connected to connect the 28. I’ve been told the 28 isn’t compatible with the LGC-2000 hooked up directly. The parts I have are a 3′ black cable that connects to the network port, the LGC-3000 puck, and one 5 “round” pin 3′ blue connecter cord. The network port has the 5 “dice” connection.

Let me clarify, I’d love to link them together but my primary goal is to get the 28 functional w/GPS.

What is your goal for these units?

I’d leave the 332 alone and set up a red network for the 28.

You’ll have to power two sets of leads off the power cord of
the 28. One set for display power, red and black, one set for network power, red, black, and bare shield wire. The network leads should be switched so there is not a constant
    draw on your battery.
Do you have a manual for the 28?

Why connect them if you don’t want to share GPS info? Just curious.

Either way, you will need a blue or red network.

My advice, for a clean install, is to get a red network. It’s powered directly, not through a unit(332). AND…a big plus…it’s a lot easier to find T’s for the red, than it is the blue. Connecting the 332/LCG2000 to the red network will be easier than connecting the other to a blue network.

With the red network, you’d need 4 T’s(units/pucks) 2 blue to red adapters(332/LCG2000). Lowrance has a red starter kit, i’d suggest that and getting the other accessories. This is the easiest way.

Don’t think those units are capable of sharing sonar…at least the 332. Not 100% sure though.

He already has a blue network.

Red networks can be powered through an older unit like a LCX-28c HD or with a power node that ties into the network and connects to 12 volts.

I wouldn’t bother with adapters trying to connect red devices to a blue network or vice versa.

Just get the 28 working with the 3000 antenna on a red
    network powered through the 28.

    That 332 will die soon………………..
