LMS 520c backlight not working

    I have a 6 year old LMS 520c that Lowrance has suspended repair work because it is over 5 years old. Does anyone know someone that can work on the unit to fix the back light or is there something that I can do myself. The unit works but you can only see the screen in ideal light conditions.

    This gentleman bought mine off me that did the exact same thing, he gets them repaired and resells them, might be able to help you out with repair.

    Thanks. I talked to Randy and he said I would have to send it to him and he would get it fixed for about $150 or sell it to him.
