Need a little help here, I’m trying to transfer all my waypoints from my old h2o to an empty SD card but unit says “error you must first insert MMC card”, well, I did that, I’m wondering if the 4GB SD card is too modern for this unit and wonder if I should use an old 512mb SD card instead, you think this would help this unit recognize an MMC?
If I recall the newer cards and large cards don’t work in an h2o. They run on old technology. So yes a smaller card would be want you want!

I just got educated on MMC vs. SD technolgy, pretty similar but just a few different features.
SD should work but no larger than 1gb.

I thought the H2O was max 2G, but the last post of 1G Very well could be right.
To be safe use the 1G and you should be fine.
