    Hot off the presses another Doctor Sonar Learning Moment! Another frequent question on the Doctor Sonar Facebook page is “What settings do you recommend for my Lowrance ____ Sonar?     Jon, I’m as far from a walleye guy as a can of Spam is to a Ribeye steak and I know Doc Bruce Sampson! LOL!

    Then again, he was a catfisherman before the tourny bug hit him.

    He’s one of the “good guys” in the fishing world.

    Doc Samson has lots of valuable information on his site. I also found Jason Halfen’s videos and articles very informative and seems the interpretation of side and down scan has lots of cross over between HB and Lowrance.

    I know who he is. I was pointing out how bad the website is set up. I tried again and still cannot navigate to the page Moreeyes linked to. As far as I can tell it does not exist. (There is no “About Us” link from the home page. I could not find it anywhere on the site) If I were a person who did not know who Doc Sampson was, I would never be able to find out going to that website. At the very least he should have his name on the Pro Staff page. Stuff like that bugs me.
