Elite-7 power cord

    On my new elite-7 power cord their are five wires that come off the power cord that’s called data cable with 5 wires ( NMEAO183 ) Where do they go to ? Thanks

    Those are used for your Marine radio.

    Here’s the diagram from Lowrance. You might need your owners manual from your radio as well to ensure the wires are matched. Depending on the age of your radio, the colors may or may not be the same.

    In addition to what Brian said, if you don’t have a marine radio they don’t go anywhere. Just cut the inch or so of the individual wires off where they come out of the cable and save the NMEA 183 just in case you get a marine radio in the future.
