Best Chip for a Lowrance 334C for Pools 2, 3, & 4

    I have a Lowrance 334C that came new with the boat in 2006. I’d like to get a chip that would show all the wing dams, contours, etc. for Pools 2, 3, and 4. I don’t care about any other bodies of water. What chip should I get? I’ve never updated the software. Will I need to do that before I install the new chip?

    If you can find them, Lakemaster MN chip. I doubt you’ll find one new. Search CL or Ebay.

    Not sure if you will find one that has depth contours on it. Thought you had to switch over to Hummingbird for that. I do have two older lowrance chips around. They showed wingdams but not depth contours.
