Saving Icons on SD card

    I have an LMS 332c that I would like to save my icons to transfer to a different unit and just to have in case one of them poops out.
    I’m talking icons here not waypoints as I already know how to do that. Is this possible? Over the years I have mainly laid down icons rather than use waypoints.

    When you save the waypoints it should save the icons.

    Sweet thanks. All I was looking for.

    I hate having tons of wpts all over and have always just used icons.

    Just a thought, but you might want to start considering saving all future spots as way points versus Icons as all the newer units no longer use Icons (something to do with coast guard I think) and don’t belive the newer units are going to reconize icons saved from old untis or on SD cards.

    If I’m wrong on this, someone PLEASE inform us.

    I took my waypoints and icons from a X27 and they transferred to the HDS 8 gen 2 fine. They still show up as icons

    Thanks for sharing that info.
    Being as none of the new units use Icons any longer, I didn’t think they would transfer, but then agaian, I never used Icons so I wouldn’t have known.
