Can someone tell me if when calibrating this antenna I should get some sort of prompt or message on my HDS unit?

I’ve done the circle thing, after disconnecting and reconnecting from the network, three times now and I’m getting a seriously lag in cursor response when moving

    at slower speeds.

I may have to go back to the 4K.

    Thank you!

I did not get any notice when I did mine. The gps is working great. Did you go into your settings and make sure the units are using the point 1 antenna over the internal antenna?

How do I calibrate the heading sensor in my Point-1?

If, at any time the heading data from your Point-1 becomes incorrect, calibration of the Point-1 heading

sensor can be done in one of two ways:

 From the HDS unit. HDS Gen2 and Gen2 Touch (with 2.0 software or higher) have the ability to

initiate a calibration sequence from the Device list. Simply select the Point-1 from the device list

and enter the Details page. From here, press calibrate, you will be taken to the instructions on

how to perform a calibration. This is done by driving the boat in several circles. Press Calibrate

    to begin the process.

I did the calibration from navigating through the device list. This shows directions on what to do, plus tells you when you are calibrating and when you are finished. It worked good.

Look for an update to fix the Point-1.
