GPS not responding 2

Hi Guys, I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction here.

I have A Lowrance LCX-113C HD

Currently my GPS Location will not show up on my Mapping screen, everything seems to be working except for locating my boat position on the map. If I change locations my longitude and latitude numbers appear to change also,however it will not show my boat location.
I tried the soft reset twice and it did not resolve the problem.
If I do a hard reset, will I also loose the factory Software updates that have been installed?

I am assuming that a Hard Reset will return the unit to the origanal factory settings.

If you hit exit when on the chart page will it toggle to a different screen and show your location?

I don’t think you will lose your updated software when doing
a hard reset. You will lose your waypoints, routes, and trails though.

When I hit the exit button it goes to a blank screen, when I return to the map screen the cursor remains in view.
It almost seems like it is stuck in a go to cursor mode, so I have gone to the stop navigation menu and hit enter, that still does not help.
