I could use some help. I have an HD 8 at the wheel and an X 25 up front. I cannot get the front to read my GPS points on the 8. I erased everything to start over. I had it working last year but cannot remember how i did it. Is there a setting on the HDS 8 that I am missing. The manual just says turn it on. Any help would be appreciated.

I beleive if you go into any page and hit Menu twice, go down to Network, arrow right, go down to NEMA 2000, arrow right, you will see Recieve waypoint, send way point. Make sure both of those are higlighted and you should be able to way-point share (at least on the HDS models), not familur with the X25.
I’m sure others will give better advice.
    Good luck.

Did you connect the X25 to the network?

Yes. I must have other problems. Now the 25 says it is low memory and I have delelte all waypoints and trails on both units.

Okay I figured it out and here is the story. Last year we were up at lake of the woods and a friend uploaded his waypoints in my set up. When this happened there were 6 number ones 6 number 2 etc (way points) Well the x 25 is older and cannot handle as much data as the HDS 8. So I deleted all waypoints and trails on both units. When I saved waypoints on the 8 it would save but not on the 25. When I went to the 25 and saved it said memory full. So I did a hard reset on the 25. Went back to the 8 saved a waypoint and it showed up on the 25 All I can figure is the 25 has RAM like a computer and it was full but there was no way to delete RAM unless you did a hard reset. Anyway long story but now i can see waypoints up front…..Thanks everyone.
