I couldnt wait so I hooked up the 9 last night and in a matter of minutes I had it all set up. This was my first time playing with the new touch units and man are they sweet. Navigating threw the menus is easy. Bring on soft water

I was wondering if you would adopt a 40 something fisherman that would greatly like to inherit fishing boats and gear!?!

What kind of cost is the monthly subscription on that LWX-1?

Did they keep the same style wiring plugs on the back of the units as the Gen1 and Gen2 HDS units so its an easy change or did they change those? How about the gimble as well?

I believe last year it was like $30 a month for the weather/radio package. Right now Cabelas has these antennas on sale for $99 and then you receive a $99 credit when you set up your sirius account!

Same type of connectors and they added another ethernet(yellow) port for networking the units without having to purchase the network box. I never looked at the mounts yet but guessing the same.

Don’t forget to call the Marine and Aviation phone number for Sirus…

    866-635-7726.

They know the difference between a radio and a sonar/gps unit.

Sweet is right on, moved from a 1198si last year to a HDS Touch 12 & 7 this year. Very easy to use. I too want soft water.

Ok, Grand Rapids might be 4 hours away, but cannon falls?? LOL!

You’re minutes away from soft water!

These single digit mornings have my old Gen 2 frowning at me as well.

I know, I’m only dreaming! When it does come, it will be fast and hot.
