Lowrance HDS Gen 2 River Maps

    I am curious for you local river guys what chip you are using for your Gen 2 Lowrance units. I looked at a Gen 2 unit with Insight and see it does not show the wing dams for all the pools. I have always used Lakemaster on my older units and they show all wing dams. Do the Navionics chips show the dams and if so what version?

    Check out the new 2013 Lowrance Insight Chips.

    Wing Dams on Pools 3,4,9,10 are very well defined. Haven’t had an opportunity to use it on other pools, but i’d assume they are the same.

    The wing dams are not shown for those other pools.

    Check out Navionics, here is a link to the Map previewer if you zoom in on Pool 3 you will see the wing dams, you can also cruise the other pools. http://www.navionics.com/en/webapp
