Sounds like a transducer to me. I had issues with one that was always stuck on 1.8′ even when I knew I was in 20-30′ of water.

are you saying that the transducer is shot? because even sitting in my garage, ( this is a bow mounted unit, ) on my trolling motor , which is laying flat, that my unit was still showing four foot.. thanks for the comments so far..

If any one has an old x71 transducer ( the old grey style)or an x85 ( little black) transducer let me know what you want for either or both. I would really appreciate it. I tried to fuse the x85 transducer but it still doesn’t work. I don’t have a solder gun, so I just tried to twist the wires together.. not working as of yet..

I would like to have one graph working for this fall. thanks in advance guys..
