First time I’ve seen this. My console unit is shutting off in its own. Happened 3 times in 4 hours. When I hit power switch it powers up again and seems fine. Then after a period of time 20 minutes to an hour the screen is black. In heading to Canada in 3 weeks. I’m really going to need this. Anywhere in metro to get it checked out? I don’t think it’s the power source connection but maybe it is? Help please

Had similar issue with a H-bird. Happens I used to always disc. unit and bring into truck . The connections looked good ,but I replaced them and have not had a problem since. Also I usually leave unit connected now.

Sounds like power interruption. Check connections. I put a very small dab of di-electric grease on each hole the pins go in, tighten connection. Take connections apart again and wipe excess grease from the female side. Put back together and you should be good to go. I have to do this twice a year, but haven’t had problems since started doing it. Good luck. Not much help available from dealers.

I would start with the basics, check your connections, fuse holder power supply. Thats what they will ask you if you bring it in. If you used crimp connectors with a cheap crimpers, 90% of the issues

Thanks. I’ll try the connection fix and if that doesn’t do it I will delve deeper into it

The grease seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the tip.
