I have a HDS 7 gen 1, Since I loaded the new update 4.1.36.68 when I am running over about 30 mph the chart goes blank part way down the screen then fills in then blanks out part way down again. Never had this problem before the update. I am using the latest Lakemaster chip. Did Lowrance do this to get back at Lakemaster for dropping them?
Try zooming out a little further when traveling at higher
speeds. The map won’t have to redraw as often.
No they did not, I had the same issue at 60 mph i was off the Lakemaster map, zoom out a bit
One thing to check that will make your chart speed faster is :Press Pages
Go to Waypoints, Routes and Trails
Use the cursor pad and scroll over to Trails and hit Menu
Scroll down to Setting and press Enter
Change the Logging Type to Time
Set the time to 1 Sec. Press close and Exit.
