HDS Structure Scan Ducer Mounting.

    My dad has a 1790T skeeter and looking for ideas on where to mount that Ducer. Who has mounted one on the transom with the bracket. I know most Ranger guys can mount right to the transom w/o the bracket. Looking for ideas…

    I would recommend mounting next to the 2D, just make sure it lower on hull or below the 2D, many guys do it this way

    The guy I always check with when I have any boat rigging questions is Jack at Actions Fishing in Anoka. He’s the most knowledgable person I know for setting up electronics and I think he’s right up the road from you. Plus he’s a great guy who’s always willing to chat fishing if you stop in with a question.

    thanks for the reply’s…I also found You Tube to be very useful as to where to mount the SS ducer. Also gives a lot of good info on how to use the Gen 2 software.

    Do you have any pictures of where you ended up mounting the SS transducer?
