Have HDS-8 and 10 gen 2 units.
How do you get seconds to show up when time is an overlay?
My manual shows digital time with HH:MM:SS (page 15) but I only get HH:MM. Doesn’t seem to be an option in the settings (page 74).
Also, when changing Fishing Mode (Page 85) on the bow unit, it seems to change the console unit as well. Any way to stop that?
I don’t know about the time one, but there is a setting for the other issue that can be changed. Unfortunately I’m driving my desk today and not my boat so I can’t pull up the menu and find it for you. It was mentioned in a post a month or so ago about sharing transducers though so I will see if I can find that post.

Not sure if that really answers it. i’m sure if I disconnected the ethernet cable or turned off NMEA 200 networking this would stop but I would still like waypoint sharing, sonar sharing etc. Just a little surprise that changing fishing modes changes both units.
