HDS5 TRAILS?

    Hello,

    HOW DO I DISPLAY A TRAIL WITHOUT CREATING A NEW ONE?

    I am new to the site and the HDS 5. I have used the 520c in the past and was able to display old tracks and not continue to lay another one over the one that I was following. I am having trouble with this on my new unit and I am sure that it is something simple that I am overlooking. The only way I have been able to view a trail was to go to chart and turn on the trail which continues to color up my chart. Any help would be appreciated!

    menu-waypoints, routes and trails-enter-cursor over to trails-enter-scroll down and highlight trail(if no trail then hit menu and create new trail)hit menu and make sure the blue dot is filled in where it says Display.

    And if you don’t want it displayed, make sure the dot is not filled in next to display.

    Thanks for the info! I am headed to Toledo Bend next week and I will give it a try.
